A Video Player HIT is the validation of the stream activity such as play, engagement, impression and stop of the event. 8 hits are calculated in 1 minute time for a single video watched by 1 user.
- Start HIT: Occurs when the video player initiates playback
- Every 10 second HITS: Data sent to the backend at 10-seconds intervals during the video, resulting in six hits within a minute.
- User Interaction HITS: Generated when a user pauses/resumes, skips/rewinds, or adjusts video quality or any setting during playback.
- Stop HIT: Recorded when a user stops the video.
