We have implemented options for cancel, retry and delete the transcoding jobs.
What is the purpose of these options?
If your transcoding queue contains a huge number of files. If you want to cancel some unimportant files, So you can use the Cancel option in that case. In another case, If your source file contains some errors, then the transcoding will not start. So you can fix the errors and Retry the transcoding job. Also, you can remove the file permanently from the transcoding queue using the Delete option.
NB: Cancel operation possible only before the process is started
How to use these options?
Please follow the steps,
- Login to 5centsCDN console.
- If you want to add a transcoding job then go to VoD or HTTP push zone and transcode the file using the appropriate transcoding profile.
- Go to the Summary page under Video Transcoding.
- On the redirected page, you can see the files listed as a queue.
- Click the Cancel button at the end of the file name to cancel the job(Before starting the job).
- If the file contains any error then the transcoding will not start. You can fix the errors and retry the job.
- Click the Delete option to remove it permanently or click Retry to continue the job.
